Silver Spurs Cowboy Church invites the public to the Lynn family farm, 5500 New Park Road, White Hall, Md., for the fifth annual Cowboys for Christ Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 7. Fishing at the pond will begin at 4 p.m., and no license is needed. The fish that are caught, along with chicken, will be grilled for a potluck picnic dinner to begin at approximately 6 p.m. Plates, napkins, cutlery and water will be provided, so those who are able are asked to bring a side dish and/or beverage.
Following dinner, Brad Rineholt, an ordained Cowboys for Christ chaplain, will lead the worship service, which will include singing, preaching and Communion. Fireworks will then be launched from a location down the road, and transportation will be provided, as parking at the site is limited. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket.
