Jacob T. Onderdonk from Willow Street graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center's boot camp in Cape May, N.J., on Jan. 22 with the rank of seaman apprentice. He has been assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Tampa in Portsmouth, Va.
Jacob is a 2020 graduate of Penn Manor High School and the son of William and Carolyn Onderdonk. His father, a member of the Army Reserve, is currently serving a nine-month deployment to Bahrain with the 1185th DDSB in Lancaster.
