The Junior League of Lancaster, PA, Inc. (JLL), has announced the 2022 annual Community Grant winners. They are Lancaster Science Factory and Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County (CAP).
The Lancaster Science Factory's mission is to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence by fostering an inclusive environment for hands-on STEM exploration. The $5,000 JLL grant will go toward adding additional STEM components to the children's programming and helping to continue a thriving community that learns through discovery and uses critical thinking to build a better tomorrow.
CAP is the recipient of a $2,500 grant, which will help to fund summer internships for students from J.P. McCaskey High School. CAP is an anti-poverty organization that seeks to interrupt intergenerational poverty with programs that assist families at every age and place in life.
