Jump For Joy Sets Fall Session

Jump for Joy, a nondenominational Christian fitness program, will start its fall session on Tuesday, Aug. 20. There will be 18 classes this session. This is the 32nd year that Jump for Joy is providing area women opportunities for regular fitness and fellowship.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:05 to 7:15 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra, on the corner of South Railroad Street.

The instructor and program creator, Lynn Kuhn, will lead class participants through a complete body workout via aerobic dance routines choreographed to upbeat Christian and positive mainstream music. The one-hour workout will combine stretches, cardio, strength, and balance moves. The dance routines are always followed by a core workout, stretches, and a cool-down on the floor.

Each class begins with a 10-minute devotional and prayer time, as the program promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
