KDC: Cooperative Solutions has been offered an opportunity to share office space with one of its founding member nonprofit organizations in its new office space in Harrisburg.
Pennsylvania Association Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), just relocated to 1007 N. Front St., Suite 3S, Harrisburg. The space includes one large private office, a shared kitchen and three bathrooms, shared use of a conference room and plenty of parking spaces on the riverfront property.
In conversations preceding the move, KDC executive director Peggy Fogarty and PASA executive director Hannah Smith-Brubaker explored multiple ways the KDC and PASA could find efficiencies by working together more intentionally. Smith-Brubaker served as KDC's board president in 2015-16.
KDC plans to host its board meetings at the new space and have more in-person time with its members, board members, and other partners. KDC can start moving Saturday, Feb. 1, and plans to be fully out of the Ephrata office by Sunday, March 1. KDC's mailing address will remain 108F N. Reading Road, Suite 200, Ephrata, for now.
