Pequea Valley School District (PVSD) is planning kindergarten readiness workshops in 2020.
The workshops are designed to provide families with new ways to prepare their children for kindergarten. To attend the workshops, a child must plan to attend kindergarten at PVSD in 2020 and be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2020.
Kindergarten readiness workshop sessions will be held on select Thursdays at Salisbury Elementary School, 422 School Lane, Gap, from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. The schedule includes "Letters and Sounds" on Jan. 16 (register by Jan. 9), "Vocabulary and Rhyming" on Feb. 20 (register by Feb. 13), "Numbers and Counting" on March 19 (register by March 12), "Shapes and Patterns" on April 16 (register by April 9), and "Fun With Feelings" on May 14 (register by May 7).
