Korean War Veterans and Defenders recently announced that the 66th anniversary of the signing of the truce which ended all hostilities in Korea will be on Saturday, July 27. A Korean War veteran is considered to be anyone who served anywhere from 1950 to 1953. A defender is one who served in Korea after 1953 to the present time.
In honor of the coming anniversary, veterans are invited to become members of the National Korean War Veterans Association. For an application and further information, readers may contact Gilbert E. Condor Sr. at 717-566-0735 or vulmos1@verizon.net.
