The Gen. John H. Michaelis Chapter 327 of the Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) will meet on Wednesday, June 12, in the Eagle Commons of Woodcrest Villa, 2001 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. The meeting will begin at noon with a free luncheon. David Manuel will speak on "The Navajo Code Talkers of WWII."
Membership in the KWVA is open to all servicemen and women who served in Korea at any time from 1945 to the present or were in uniform serving anywhere from June 25, 1950, to Jan. 31, 1955. A special effort is being made to recruit those who served in Korea at any time following the armistice in July 1957.
