In order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), LancasterHistory, 230 N. President Ave., Lancaster, has closed to the public effective March 14.
All public events, tours, programs, and facilities, including the Research Center, will be closed through Sunday, April 12. Those with tickets to tours and events will receive refunds, and every effort will be made to reschedule events.
The Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum will remain open from dawn to dusk, and all are welcome to visit the arboretum. The organization will endeavor to share its "Piecing Together Lancaster County Quilts" program as an online video, among other new digital resources, as a way of continuing to fulfill its educational mission.
Readers may look out for these new resources as well as previous ones by visiting http://www.lancasterhistory.org or searching for "LancasterHistory" on Facebook or YouTube.
