LanCo Performing Arts, 328 E. Main St., New Holland, will hold a fundraising event on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Food trucks will offer waffles and ice cream for purchase, and there will be drawings for gift baskets. The event will be held rain or shine. Attendees are asked to practicing social distancing.
A portion of the proceeds will help LanCo Performing Arts with retrofitting expenses so it can meet requirements issued by the CDC and continue operating. Proceeds will also be used to replenish the scholarship fund. LanCo Performing Arts is not government-funded and does not receive any grants or special funding.
LanCo Performing Arts is currently accepting registrations for its new season. Classes are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The company offers professional performance training to children and provides the community with performances. It strives to encourage and nurture a safe environment for children of all ages.
