Heather N. Kessler of Sinking Spring has been named vice president of health services/NHA for Landis Homes. She has extensive experience in aging services, with her most recent position being executive director of Sanatoga Ridge Community and Buchert Ridge Community in the Pottstown area. Prior to that, she was assistant executive director of Westminster Winter Park and Westminster Baldwin Park in Winter Park, Fla. In both roles, she oversaw the operations of large communities, with a wide range of accommodations and services. Prior to her time in Florida, she dedicated her career in leading in area aging services providers in the Lehigh County and Berks County areas.
Kessler's accomplishments include guiding the team in Florida to its first five-star rating, developing a track record of high occupancy across all of the communities, and planning, opening, filling, and operating a new neighborhood within the Westminster Winter Park community. Kessler has provided leadership over all areas of operations throughout her career.
She began her education with a Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University before earning her NHA licensure through Marywood University. In 2020, she added a certification as a Certified Senior Advisor from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.
