The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's recent confirmation of a spotted lanternfly in York County is prompting state Rep. Keith Gillespie to host an informational seminar about the destructive insect on Thursday, July 25, at 6 p.m. at Flinchbaugh's Orchard and Farm Market, 110 Ducktown Road, York. A representative from Penn State Extension will lead the seminar and provide information on what can be done to prevent the advance of this insect.
