The Kuerner Farm Art Exhibit and the Winter Membership Show both began on Jan. 17 and will run through Thursday, Feb. 11, at Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA), 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg.
Artists from LCAA spent a day in September sketching and painting en plein air at Kuerner Farm in Chadds Ford, where Andrew Wyeth was inspired to paint some of his well-known artwork. The Kuerner Farm Exhibit in the Steinmetz Gallery features artwork produced by the LCAA artists who painted and sketched at this historic location.
The Winter Membership Show features paintings, drawings and sculpture in a wide variety of mediums. Award winners were chosen in the Professional and Non-Professional divisions by artist Elaine Goodman.
Both galleries are open to the public free of charge on Thursdays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Donations are accepted. Award-winning artwork can also be viewed at http://www.lcaaonline.org and on the "Lancaster County Art Association" Facebook page.
