Lower Dauphin High School (LDHS) was recently recognized by Four Diamonds for holding a Four Diamonds Mini-THON for the past 15 years and surpassing a cumulative Mini-THON total of $1 million raised.
This year's campaign to end pediatric cancer began with an all-school assembly on Sept. 17, and on Sept. 23, the first big fundraiser took place at the football game against Cedar Cliff. Students from both schools were encouraged to wear Four Diamonds Bowl T-shirts. Various fundraising opportunities were available at the game.
The high school's Mini-THON is scheduled from 7 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022, through 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022. During that time, students will stand and enjoy activities and offerings such as dancing, sporting events, a singing competition, a fashion show, Zumba, a live band, the Mr. Mini-THON pageant, and lots of food.
