LGLC To Host Spring Fling

Jun 05, 2021 - 9:30 am

Living God Lutheran Church (LGLC), 3200 Horseshoe Pike (Route 322), Honey Brook, will present its annual Spring Fling, featuring a yard sale, food and more, on Saturday, June 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

All activities will take place outdoors. In addition the yard sale, there will be vendors on hand, including those offering handmade items for sale. A baked goods table featuring homemade treats prepared by church members will be available.

There will be a food truck on-site offering hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hot dogs and cheese dogs, french fries, soft pretzels, ice cream and beverages.

The church's walking trail, which was dedicated during the Spring Fling in 2010, will be open during this year's event. Those who walk along the trail, which is about three-quarters of a mile in length, will see a wide variety of spring flowers and blooming trees, along with bird boxes. Benches are located in several places where walkers may rest, relax, pray or meditate. A series of nature-related spiritual messages have been placed along the trail to encourage walker reflection.

The trail is open every day from dawn to dusk. More information about the trail is available at http://www.facebook.com/LGLCWalkingTrail.

The Sunday service at LGLC takes place at 9:30 a.m. In-person worship is offered, or attendees may remain in their cars to listen to the service on an FM radio station.
