The 2019 Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP) annual breakfast celebration and awards will take place on Friday, Nov. 8, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton, 2400 Willow Valley Pike, Lancaster. LHOP will celebrate 25 years of working to ensure housing affordability for low- to moderate-income individuals and families living and working throughout the community. It will also celebrate its accomplishments over the past year and highlight its vision of a healthy and vibrant community.
The keynote speaker will be Benson F. "Buzz" Roberts, president and CEO of the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL).
Additionally, the LHOP 2019 awards will be presented. The annual awards recognize a person, company, or organization that exemplifies the mission and vision of LHOP. This year's award winners are Randy Patterson, retired, City of Lancaster - Spirit of Lancaster Award; Dennis Groff, Paradise Township - Housing Award; Rod Redcay, Real Life Community Services - Opportunity Award; Millersville University - Partnership Award; and Carole Kirchner, Berkshire Hathaway - Special Recognition Award.
