End-of-summer ice cream socials will be held at all Dauphin County Library System locations starting Tuesday, Aug. 20, and running through Thursday, Aug. 22. Readers of all ages are invited to complete a few activities, pick up their finishing prize, and make their own ice cream sundae.
Ice cream socials will be held at the following locations: Kline Library, 530 S. 29th St., Harrisburg, on Aug. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.; Madeline L. Olewine Memorial Library, 2410 N. Third St., Harrisburg, on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m.; East Shore Area Library, 4501 Ethel St., Harrisburg, on Aug. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.; McCormick Riverfront Library, 101 Walnut St., Harrisburg, on Aug. 22 from noon to 2 p.m.; and William H. and Marion C. Alexander Family Library, 200 W. Second St., Hummelstown, on Aug. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
