Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, has posted several announcements, including schedule changes.
Renovations have begun at the library. Book drop services for after-hours return of items will not be available during construction, so any books and media must be returned inside the building. The library will waive any fines that accrue until there is access to the book drop and media drop again.
On Friday, April 12, the library will be closed for staff in-service training from 9:30 a.m. to noon and will be open from noon to 5 p.m. The library will also be closed all day on Easter Sunday, April 21.
The library is in need of an evening book group facilitator. Book groups will meet regularly beginning in early September and continuing through May 2020. Interested people may email Julie Brnik at jebrnik@derrytownship.org or call the library at 717-533-6555.
