The Adamstown Area Library, 3000 N. Reading Road, Adamstown, is expanding curbside pickup hours to include evenings. The new hours took effect on Aug. 24.
Curbside pickup hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Mondays through Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, and from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
To take advantage of curbside service, patrons may place items on hold by visiting http://www.adamstownarealibrary.org and clicking on "Library Catalog," by calling 717-484-4200 or by emailing info@adamstownarealibrary.org. Patrons will receive a call to schedule a pickup time.
Borrowed items can be returned 24/7 via the library's book drop. Returned items will be quarantined for a minimum of 96 hours before being checked in to ensure that they are safe to be shelved or checked out again.
