Library Offers Website Accessibility Tool

Milanof-Schock Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, continues to be closed indefinitely.

The library now offers a website accessibility tool. Browsealoud is support software that adds speech, reading, and translation to websites to facilitate access and participation for people with dyslexia, low literacy, English as a second language, and mild visual impairments. Online content can be read aloud in multiple languages. The product was secured for the Lancaster County Library System by a grant through Census 2020 funding. The tool is available by visiting http://www.mslibrary.org and selecting the logo in the lower right corner.

Due dates have been extended until Friday, May 15, and fines accrued during the closing will be waived. For updates and continuing information, readers may visit the aforementioned website and social media pages.
