Library Opens For Curbside Pickup

The Coatesville Area Public Library staff members are once again providing services to the community. Books and other media that patrons have held since the March closure are now able to be dropped off. The due dates for all materials checked out during the closure have been extended to Tuesday, June 30.

The library, located at 501 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, is now offering curbside pickup of reserved library books and media. Patrons can reserve an item by logging into their account at http://www.ccls.org. They may also use the library app, search for an item in the catalog and click on "Place a hold on this item" or "Request item." When the item is available for pickup, the patron will receive a notice, including instructions on how to schedule the pickup.

Coatesville Area Public Library staff members met recently to learn new safety procedures for reopening, which include wearing masks. Masks were sewn by patron Sue Crume.

Details of the library's adjusted hours, rules and precautions can be found at http://www.coatesvilleareapubliclibrary.org and http://www.facebook.com/CoatesvilleLibrary.
