Manheim Community Library, 15 E. High St., has opened registration for the upcoming Winter Story Time and Toddler Time sessions to begin the week of Monday, Feb. 10. Classes are free, though freewill donations will be appreciated.
Area children ages 4 and 5 are invited to participate in the Winter Story Time sessions. Parents or caregivers may choose to enroll their child in either the Tuesday or Wednesday series, which will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. At each session, a book will be featured and will be accompanied by coordinating activities to project the message of the story.
The Toddler Time program is designed for children ages 2 and 3. Parents or caregivers have the option of enrolling their child in either the Tuesday or Wednesday series, both of which will run from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Toddler Time sessions emphasize the value of reading aloud to children, social interaction, learning and playing together, and developmental skills.
Those interested in possible Thursday sessions may sign up on the waiting list at http://eepurl.com/gdH7an or http://www.manheimlibrary.org.
