The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will hold a fundraiser at Hoss's Steak and Sea House, 3604 E. Market St., York, on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Community members may visit the restaurant for lunch, dinner or takeout, and Hoss's will donate a percentage of the proceeds to the Friends of Kreutz Creek Library. Babies and Toddlers Story Time with Miss Lisa, for children from birth through 3 years old with a caregiver, will be offered at 10 and 10:45 a.m. on Mondays, Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24. Registration is required.
Preschool Story Time with Miss Felicia, for children ages 3 to 5, will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. on Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. The program will include a story and a craft. Registration is required.
Wee Build Wednesdays, for children ages 3 to 5, will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 12 and 26. Wee Build STEM materials will be available for use.
The LEGO Builders' Club will meet on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The club is open to children age 6 and up. Participants may take on a provided challenge or build something from their imagination.
The Danger Club with Miss Jennifer, for youths ages 9 to 12, will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Library Squad, for youths ages 9 to 12, will be offered on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Tweens will be able to shape library programming for their age group.
On Thursdays, Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 4 to 6 p.m., Teen Time will allow teenagers, those ages 13 to 18, to gather for hangout time and conversation at the library.
The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library Branch Support Group will meet on Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m. The group welcomes fresh ideas and suggestions for activities to be held throughout the year.
The Knitters and Crocheters group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. People of all skill levels are welcome, and group members will help others learn to knit or crochet. Attendees should bring needles and yarn. Knitters and crocheters may bring their current projects to work on. The group will meet from 6 to 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 4 and 18.
Tech Time will take place on Feb. 20 from 4 to 5:45 p.m. York County Libraries' technology specialist will answer attendees' technology questions and showcase one or more of the library's digital resources that are available for use.
The Green Thumb Garden Club will host a program on Feb. 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Melanie Markowski will present "Herbal Vinegars 'How-To's.'"
