Martin Library, 159 E. Market St, York, has planned several programs for adults. A Springtime Tea will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Professional organizer and productivity expert Bobbie Dull will share her tips on time management and prioritization.
The catered meal will include hot tea, chocolate chip scones, tomato bisque, finger sandwiches, crème puffs, crème brulee, and mini cheesecakes. Tickets may be purchased via the events calendar at the aforementioned website. Tickets are also available at the library's second-floor Information Services desk.
Journalist David DeKok will return to Martin Library at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, to talk about his most recent book, "Murder in the Stacks: Penn State, Betsy Aardsma, and the Killer Who Got Away." DeKok spoke previously at Martin Library about the Centralia mine fire.
Rounding out the spring series will be two programs on Saturday, May 18. At 10 a.m. in the second-floor computer labs, technology instructor Parag Khanvazir will talk about how to better utilize Facebook. At 10:30 a.m., consultant Dennie Smith will provide tips and answers to common questions about buying used cars.
