Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, will host a creative writing workshop with Linda Oatman High on Monday, July 8, at 1 p.m.
Using glow sticks and novelties, the workshop will include prompts related to the moon. The program, for people age 10 and up, is part of the library's Summer Reading Program.
High graduated from Vermont College with her Master of Fine Arts in writing for children and young adults. In 2012, she was honored in England with the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award. She is the author of numerous books for children and teens. High lives in Bowmansville.
The program is free and open to the public, but preregistration is requested. To preregister, stop by the library or call 717-626-2255.
