Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, has posted opportunities for the community.
Moores is part of the Lancaster County Library System, and any book, DVD, or other material available in the system catalog is available for pickup in Christiana. A large selection of e-books is available for download, too. The library offers passes for several local museums, including the Lancaster Science Factory.
In-person activities at the library in October will include Preschool Story Time. This activity is held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Corner.
On Thursdays, Oct. 14 and 28, at 6 p.m., the Lego Club will meet in the downstairs Community Room for a free build and special projects.
The real, live library bunny will be present on Tuesdays, Oct. 12 and 26, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Visitors may read a story to the bunny.
The Read Moore Book Store is open on Mondays to Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m. as well as on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Patrons may browse the large collection of used books, all of which have been cleaned.
