Library Posts Family Programs

The Arthur Hufnagel Public Library, 32 Main St., Glen Rock, will offer several family programs through the end of January.

The library offers two regular story times. While these programs are geared toward certain ages, all are welcome and no reservations are needed. Busy Little Birds, a baby and toddler story time, takes place on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Little Owls, designed for preschoolers, is held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays.

The library will also present its next Homegrown Learners program on Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. Children will make light-up snowmen using paper circuits, learning about electricity and circuits in a fun, creative way. Homegrown Learners is a drop-in program open to children of all ages. It meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month throughout the school year.

Families are also invited to come to Bingo for Books on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The library has a selection of books participants may win as prizes.
