Library Posts February Schedule

Ongoing programs will include Morning Yoga every Friday at 9 a.m. for adults and teens, with masks required inside the building; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m.; Painting Club at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 9 and 23; and the Great Decisions Discussion Group on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Also, the Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Feb. 7 and 21; Lititz Garden Club on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 6:30 p.m.; Jane Austen Society on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m.; Buckhill Sleuths Book Club - Lititz Location on Monday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.; Lititz Art Association on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m.; and BYOB - Bring Your Own Book (Club) for adults on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m.

A Beginners' Knitting Class will be offered on Tuesdays from Feb. 1 through March 1 at 6 p.m. Space is limited, and registration is required. A materials list will be emailed to participants.

The library will offer a Movies of the 1950's movie showing on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 1:30 p.m. The film "Harvey," which is not rated, will be shown.

History and Horticulture: France will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Garden writer Jessica Damiano will give a virtual tour of the gardens of Versailles and Monet's garden at Giverny. Registration is required and will begin on Feb. 2.

Ragtime Willi Band will present a concert on Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. This four-piece funky folk ensemble plays Americana music. Registration is required and will begin on Feb. 10. Space is limited and masks are required.

A Winter StoryWalk is available every day at the library. The self-directed activity encourages people of all ages to read a children's picture book in stages while walking along a short path. The winter installation will feature "Hooray for Today!" by Brian Won.

Children of all ages are invited to tune in to Zoom Story Times at 10 a.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays from Jan. 31 to Feb. 22. Online registration will begin at 7 a.m. For more details, contact storyteller Shannon Richard at srhichard@lititzlibrary.org. February indoor story times have been postponed until March.

Age specific story times for children 6 months to 5 years old will begin on Feb. 28 and conclude on Thursday, March 31. Space is limited. Masks are required, and attendees must practice social distancing. Online registration will begin on Monday, Feb. 14, at 7 a.m.
