- While visiting the Milanof-Schock Library on July 13, Paul Gardner (left) of Buch Funeral Home in Mount Joy presented library director Barbara Basile with a check to sponsor the annual library subscription of Book Page Magazine. This donation allows Milanof-Schock Library patrons to receive complimentary copies of the monthly book review magazine when visiting the library. Buch has sponsored this library resource for more than five years. Gardner is a longtime advocate for and supporter of the library and previously served as the library's board president.
- Susan Heydt (left) and Jeffrey Fuhrman (right), co-presidents Donegal Education Associaton, presented a check for $1,000 to Barbara Basile, executive director of the Milanof-Schock Library, in support of the work that the library does to support the community and students of the Donegal community. The donation was the annual contribution that the teachers of the association make to the library.
