Library Schedules Programs

Manheim Community Library, 15 E. High St., Manheim, has announced upcoming programs. For more information or to register for programs, readers may visit http://www.manheimlibrary.org or call 717-665-6700.

The library will offer an electronic music class for people age 10 and up from Tuesday, July 16, through Thursday, Aug. 8. Class sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 3 to 5 p.m., and open workshops will occur on Thursdays from 2 to 5 p.m. Taught by digital creation intern Caden McMahan, the class will be a basic introduction to the creation of music using an online computer program called Audiotool. Attendees should bring headphones and a laptop to class if they have them.

A GSA meeting will take place on Monday, July 22, at 6 p.m. Intern Eva Hain will facilitate the kickoff for the library's GSA group as part of the library's participation in the Public Library Association's Inclusive Internship Initiative. Registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.

Along with Caden and Eva, Nina Bonanno is a summer intern at the library. Nina assists with the Summer Reading Program.

Summer Saturday hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will continue through July and August.
