Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, will offer a variety of activities during April. In-person story times for preschoolers will be offered on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Corner. Children will listen to a story and participate in activities such as singing, movement, learning new ASL signs and special projects.
The Lego Club will meet on Thursday, April 28, at 6 p.m. Lego bricks will be provided for free-build projects.
Knit and Natter, a knitting and crocheting club, will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. The gathering will offer an opportunity to work on projects and chat with other crafters. Attendees should bring their own supplies. Experienced knitters will be present to assist beginning knitters. No experience or registration is required.
Children are invited to read to the library bunny on Tuesday, April 26, at 4:30 p.m.
The Read Moore Book Store, offering gently used books and other items, is located on the lower level of the library. The store is open for in-person sales on weekdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The store is run by volunteers, and all profits help support library programs.
