The Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, will host a free, outdoor family movie night on Friday, Aug. 28, behind the library. The movie will begin at 8:45 p.m. For more information, including the movie title, readers may call the library at 610-593-6683.
In addition, the Friends of the Moores Memorial Library will hold a drive-through chicken barbecue on Saturday, Aug, 29, at the Lions Park on North Bridge Street in Christiana. Half-chickens will be sold beginning at 10 a.m. and will be available until sold out. Proceeds will benefit the library.
