Children of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend with an adult to meet the character from Lucy Cousins' books. The program will include Maisy stories, activities, and a time for photos with Maisy. Readers may call the library to preregister.

Gwen Groff is displaying her artwork at the library during November, and the public is welcome to view the work during the library's normal hours of operation.

Groff, a self-taught artist, was born and raised in Lancaster County and currently resides in Lititz. She was introduced to acrylics as a teenager, when she attended private art classes. Over the past four years she has picked up a paintbrush again and paints almost daily at her kitchen table. She has watched many tutorials and read about acrylic painting techniques. Her favorite subjects to paint are animals, especially cats, as well as landscaping, and still life. She is a member of the Lititz Art Association. To learn more, readers may search for "Paintings by Gwen Groff" on Facebook.

The mission of the Lititz Art Association is to foster and promote the fine arts and to cooperate with other organizations sharing similar purposes. Membership is open to all adults with an appreciation for the fine arts. Guests are always welcome to attend the programs held at the library.
