The Quarryville Library Center, 357 Buck Road, has posted its schedule.
The Friends group will hold a weekend book sale on Friday, June 24, and Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will feature children's picture books and chapter books, popular fiction titles, nonfiction books, puzzles, and more.
The library also offers a free computer and digital training course in partnership with Millersville University. The course is offered from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the library.
The Knitting and Crocheting Group meets at the library on Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. The group is open to interested knitters, crocheters, and other crafters of all ages.
The Summer Reading Program began on June 4, and reading challenges are available for adults, as well as for children. To start their challenge, adults may pick up a map and stickers at the library and select seven books to read by Saturday, Aug. 13, that relate to this year's theme, "Oceans of Possibilities." Participants should turn in their completed map at the circulation desk by Aug. 13. All finishers will receive a small prize and will be entered into a drawing to win a Longwood Gardens family pass.
