Library Sets Winter Book Sale

The Friends of the Lancaster Public Library host their annual winter book sale on Friday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will take place The Book ReSort Center, 225 N. Marshall St., Lancaster.

The sale will offer more than 20,000 books, including fiction and nonfiction. Some items will be individually priced. The sale will include vinyl records, DVDs, and audiobooks, as well as music CDs. Feb. 16 will be half-price day.

All proceeds from the sale will directly benefit the library and play a vital role in the operating budget for Lancaster Public Library. On-site free parking is available, and payment with credit cards is welcome.

Each year, the Friends of the Lancaster Public Library hold several book sales that raise nearly $200,000 for the library. Additionally, the Friends have two bookstores that are open year-round: the Marshall Street Bookstore, located at 225 N. Marshall St., which is also the location for donation processing, and the Juliana Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Lancaster city location.
