Library System Plans Author Luncheon

Paula McLain will be featured at the Library System of Lancaster County's Spring Author Luncheon on Thursday, April 25, at noon at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster. The Council of Friends of Public Libraries will be among the co-hosts of the luncheon, which is a fundraising event for public libraries in Lancaster County.

McLain is the author of the novels "The Paris Wife," "Circling the Sun," and "A Ticket to Ride," along with her latest title, "Love and Ruin." "The Paris Wife" has been published in 34 languages. She is also the author of two collections of poetry and a memoir, "Like Family: Growing Up in Other People's Houses."

McLain is the recipient of fellowships from Yaddo, The MacDowell Colony, the Cleveland Arts Prize, the Ohio Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts. She lives with her family in Cleveland.
