Lifetree Cafe will discuss near-death experiences on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2173 Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove. Lifetree Cafe is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual setting.
The program is titled "10 Minutes to Live: Now What?" The session will feature a filmed interview with Rick Bundschuh, a pastor in Hawaii who received an alert of an incoming ballistic missile on Jan. 13, 2018. Although the alert was later confirmed to be a mistake, Bundschuh explained it elicited a wide variety of reactions. Participants will talk about their current priorities and discuss the difference between the urgent and the important things in life.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. For details on the program, readers may contact Chip Hoover at 717-792-3153 or chip08@aol.com.
