Lifetree Cafe will explore intelligent life on other planets on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 9:15 a.m. and on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (UCC), 2173 Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove. Lifetree Cafe is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable, and safe setting.
The program, titled "We're Not Alone? The Search for Intelligent Life on Other Planets," will feature a filmed interview with Dr. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the SETI Institute and author of "Confessions of an Alien Hunter: A Scientist's Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence." Whether intelligent life exists in other places in the universe and what the search for that life is revealing will be discussed.
