New Freedom Heritage will sponsor a series of local speakers in the New Freedom area. On Thursday, March 14, at 7 p.m., Bob Brown will talk about New Freedom at the Heritage Museum, Railroad Avenue, New Freedom.
The Heritage Museum of New Freedom has new hours and is open on the first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. Readers interested in membership or volunteering at the museum may contact Diane Folger at 717-227-2891.
Additionally, New Freedom Heritage is looking for volunteers to help with planning the New Freedom Fest or helping during the event, which will be Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If interested, individuals may contact Folger at the previously mentioned phone number or Mary Smith at 717-495-2390.
