The Alzheimer's Association and Garden Spot Village co-sponsor the Caregiver's Support Group for family caregivers of persons with dementia, which will meet on Monday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Concord Room. Coffee and casual conversation will start at 9:30 a.m. Social workers will lead an open discussion. Attendees should bring questions.

The Low Vision Support Group will meet on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. in the Garden Towers. Randall Wenger, Lancaster County Board of Elections and Registration Commission, will discuss Pennsylvania's new low-vision-friendly voting machines. The Low Vision Support Group is designed to provide information and support to enhance independence for persons with any kind of visual losses. The Parkinson's Support Group will meet on Monday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Garden Towers. Josh Stauffer, PharmD and BCGP, Stauffer's Pharmacy, will present "Medication Management: Your Pharmacist as a Valuable Resource." Free resources from the National Parkinson's Foundation will be available. The free support group is open to all persons with Parkinson's and their caregivers, family, and friends.
