Make-A-Wish Convoy Postponed

Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley has announced that it will postpone the annual Mother's Day Truck Convoy due to current medical and public concerns. Make-A-Wish will continue to monitor guidance from national and international public heath and government organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. State Department. Additionally, Make-A-Wish is working closely with the national Make-A-Wish Medical Advisory Council, keeping the best interests of the children and families it serves at the center of all policy decisions.

Make-A-Wish officials will continue to share details and updates regarding the Convoy as more information becomes available, including a rescheduled date and a new deadline for driver fundraising.

The Make-A-Wish office in Lancaster is temporarily closed until further notice. Its staff members are working remotely and can be reached via email or phone. Donations toward the convoy can still be accepted. For information on donating, readers may visit http://www.WishConvoy.org.

Make-A-Wish has made the decision to postpone all wish-related travel until further notice, as well as wish child participation in all activities and events related to Make-A-Wish that involve large gatherings.
