The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Engagement announced the 2019 recipients of the Mayor's Block Parties in Lancaster city. This year's recipients include the 600 block of North Plum Street, the 200 block of South Ann Street, the 600 and 700 blocks of Almanac Avenue, the 200 block of Ruby Street, West Strawberry Street, and Crystal Park.
The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Engagement will fund and assist resident leaders and neighborhood groups with planning and executing block parties in their neighborhoods. Dates for the block parties are still being finalized by the applicants.
Funds are still available for 2019. The deadline to apply for a Mayor's Block Party has been extended through Friday, June 28. Those interested can apply at http://www.cityoflancasterpa.com/resident/mayors-block-party.
