A free informational workshop, "Make Medicare an Easy Step," is planned for Thursday, July 11, at 6 p.m. at Fairmount in Ephrata. Jeff High, a financial advisor for Everence, will conduct the workshop, which will be held in the Wheat Ridge Chapel at 333 Wheat Ridge Drive on the west side of the Fairmount campus.
Workshop topics will include how, when and where to sign up for Medicare; what Medicare does and does not cover; understanding Medicare parts A, B, C and D; and budgeting for health care costs in retirement. Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions.
