Mentorship York kicked off on January 15 with seven participants. The program's ideal candidates are those who have articulated professional and civic accomplishments and goals and who are looking to step up to significant community impact.
This program is designed to accelerate successful leaders to step up to significant community impact through servant leadership and connections. Personal growth is facilitated through a one-to-one match between the Mentorship York participant and a seasoned community leader as well as monthly group conversations with a mentor and all mentees. Mentorship York serves as community succession planning for York, as it aims to fill a community leadership generational gap and aid in the transfer of knowledge between generations. Mentorship York runs on a calendar year.
