Messiah United Methodist Church (UMC), 1300 N. Beaver St., York, will host its Strawberry Social on Friday, June 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Available to purchase in the church parish hall will be strawberries, strawberry shortcake, strawberries and ice cream, strawberry pie, ham and cheese pretzel sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken corn soup, baked goods, beverages, and tacos. Face painting for children will be offered from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
