Middle School Students Lauded

Martin Meylin Middle School recently announced its Students of the Month for March and April.

The honorees for March were selected by team teachers for displaying the characteristics of dedication - being goal-oriented, always putting forth maximum effort, being resilient, persevering through difficult tasks rather than giving up and exploring and pursuing interests and abilities. The sixth-grade honorees are Theodore Bostdorf, Elliot DeBruin, Ashlynn Frey, Ethan Haverstick, Isabella Maisano, Reagan Miller, Benjamin Rimert and Peyton Zander. The following seventh-graders were recognized: Quinn Flory, Auburn Heinly, Nathan Kiawsungnoen, Kiana Rey, Rachel Ruoss, Earl Sprout, Gabriel Weber and Katerina Zeager. The school also honored eighth-graders Peter Fiorello, Alyssa Gehr, Trevor Groff, Riley Lefever, Brady Messinger, Elizabeth Shiffer, Josie Turek and Adam Zook.

For April, the creative arts teachers selected students who display academic excellence. These students have shown consistent academic excellence or consistent effort and substantial growth through the school year. The honorees are Lucy Boyd, German; Katerina Geiter, band; Liv Hofstetter, music; Brody Lawrence, health; Piper Lazar, physical education; Sophia Kurau, technology education; Felicity Manley, Spanish; Finlee Parrish, fitness and wellness; Kelsey Spaulding, art; and Kyle Wagner, orchestra.
