The Lancaster City Alliance in partnership with the Downtown Investment District recently recognized 66 city merchants in business from one to 145 years. The action celebrates the resilience, creativity, and work ethic of the city's small business community, particularly during difficult and uncertain times.
The recognition occurred at the Lancaster City Alliance's monthly merchant meeting where the merchant community comes together to network and learn. These meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 8:30 a.m. and are hosted by the Lancaster City Alliance and Downtown Investment District.
City merchants presented with one-year Milestone Awards are Al's Barber Shop, Black Bear Leather, Blazin' J's, Blossom Med Spa, Central Market Flowers by Perfect Pots, C'est La Vie, Conway Social Club at Annie Bailey's, Crowded Kitchen Community Cookhouse, Curio Gallery & Creative Supply, Decades, Edward Jones Investments, El Rincón Ponceño, Empire Workforce Solutions, Extreme Beauty Supply & Retail, Grape Leaf Cafe, Josephine's Downtown, KC's Italian Ice, Lancaster City Nutrition, Lancaster Downtown Deli, Lancaster VR Lounge, Lush Bazaar, Metro Pet Vet, Plough, Pop, Sprint, Starbucks, Sweetish Candy, TF Fitness, The Exchange, The Imperial, The KABAB Station, TREAD HOUSE Fitness, Two Cousins Pizza, Two Kings, and Ville + Rue by Domaci.

Additional Milestone Awards were presented to CityFolk Gallery and Fig Magazine, 15 years; Fig Industries, 20 years; and Miesse Candies, 145 years.
