The Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA), Station Road, Grantville, will offer the Miniature Horse Adventure Course. Children ages 7 to 11 and their parents or guardians are invited to attend on Saturday, Dec. 4, or Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Participants will join CATRA's mini horse, Sarajule, and her pasture mates in search of happiness during the holiday season. Along the way, children will learn skills in leading horses, problem solving, healthy communication, and volunteer service.
The program is offered free of charge, but donations will be accepted to support the equine-assisted learning programs offered at CATRA. Registration is required at https://catra.net/miniature-horse-challenge-2/.
