Mohler Center Posts Schedule

On Monday, April 15, a Lunch and Learn with Angus Patterson, executive director of Life Song, will be held at noon. Lunch will be chicken salad over greens, along with dessert. Reservations are required by Thursday, April 11.

Individuals may drop in for diabetes support groups facilitated by a licensed practical nurse from Penn State. The Type I group will meet on Tuesday, April 23, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and the Type II group will meet on Tuesday, April 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Medicare 101 will be presented by Dauphin County APPRISE counselors on Thursday, April 25, at 9 a.m. To register, readers may call counselor Shannon Vallier at 717-780-6130, ext. 6147.

On Friday, April 26, a social will be held at 11:30 a.m. Carol Kline will sing and entertain attendees. Lunch will be chicken Marsala, roasted redskin potatoes, tossed salad, and peach pie. There is a fee, and registration is required by Tuesday, April 23.

All Mohler Center volunteers are invited to a free celebratory lunch on Monday, April 29, at noon. Volunteers should register for the free lunch by Thursday, April 25.

College of Knowledge will be offered at Mohler Center. Interested attendees may sign up for the programs, which will be offered on Tuesday, April 30, at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, May 7, at 1 p.m.; and Tuesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. Interested attendees should register in the office.

On Monday, May 6, a Senior Fitness Lunch and Learn will be held at noon. Breakfast foods will be served for lunch. Reservations should be made by Thursday, May 2.

An Oldies Dance Party has been scheduled for Friday, May 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. Disc jockey Tony Bennett will spin favorite tunes. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and dancing will begin at 6 p.m. A variety of food will be available for purchase. There is an admission fee, and tickets are on sale now.

The Mohler Center has also planned several upcoming trips. On Wednesday, April 24, travelers may enjoy at day in the Poconos to hear Manilow and Midler tribute artists and more. Participants will depart the center at 9:30 a.m. and return around 8 p.m. There is a fee, and reservations are due by Friday, April 12.

On Tuesday, May 21, the center will offer a Blue Angels Experience trip to Annapolis to watch the elite Navy Blue Angels pilots on their practice day and to enjoy shopping and lunch. The group will depart the center at 7 a.m. and return around 7:30 p.m. There is a fee, and reservations are due by Friday, April 19.

The center will also offer a trip to the Museum of the Bible and Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 1. The trip will depart Mohler Center at 6:30 a.m. and return at approximately 9 p.m. There is a fee, and interested participants should register by Monday, July 1.

A trip to see "Come From Away" on Broadway will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Travelers will depart the center at 7 a.m. and return around 9:30 p.m. There is a fee, and reservations are due by Thursday, May 9.
