Morgan Perry Sets PSAC Top Times

The Lock Haven University (LHU) women's track and field team turned in another strong effort at the Bison Outdoor Classic meet hosted by Bucknell University on April 15 and 16. The Bald Eagles' individual efforts allowed them to hit several Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship qualifying marks and PSAC top-five marks.

Standout distance runner Morgan Perry, a Solanco alumna from Quarryville, highlighted the action on night one with her time of 17 minutes, 37.48 seconds in the 5,000-meter run. Perry picked her way through the field in the waning laps of the race to run a PSAC No. 2 mark and the fourth-fastest time in LHU history.

On April 9, LHU hosted the Elliston Early Bird Open, where Perry ran to another personal record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Her PSAC mark of 11:52.14 topped the field.
